Girls Team

This past weekend our Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 Compulsory Gymnasts competed in Elkhorn and showed great improvements from our first meet.  We had many gymnasts make the podium and many scoring their personal bests.  Our Level 4 and 5 teams both took home 4th Place Trophies!!!  Great work girls, keep up the hard work in the gym and set your goals for the next meet.

Here are the gymnasts who finished in the Top 3 for their age groups:

Emilee Thomas (Oak Creek) – 1st Place AA, 1st Place Bars & Beam, 2nd Place Floor, & 3rd Place Vault

Michaela Prevallet (Hartland) – 2nd Place AA, 1st Place Beam, 2nd Place Bars

Last weekend our Level 4 through 6 girls competed at the first meet of the season.  We are so proud of all of our girls and wanted to share a few highlights with everyone.

Level 4 Top Place Finishers

Maggie Slife (Hartland) – 2nd Place Vault and 3rd Place Bars

Riley Cowell (Oak Creek)- 2nd Place AA, 3rd Place Beam and Floor

This is just the beginning for our teams and we as coaches have already set new goals and are excited to watch the girls grow and improve this season.   Next weekend we are at WCGC and can’t wait to share our achievements with you all next week!

Rachel & Jerica before Level 9 Regionals

Congratulations to Rachel Bartelson who finished the Region 4 Level 9 Championship with a First Place Finish on Vault with a score of 9.525.  Other top finishers include, Taryn Sherman who placed 3rd in the AA for Level 8.

Among the top finishers we also have gymnasts who qualified to Westerns for Level 9, and Nationals for Level 10.  Mackenzie Smith finished Regionals with a 3rd Place finish on Vault with a score of  9.550, 5th Place on Bars with a 9.075 and a 6th Place AA finish, qualifying for her Nationals.  Good Luck Mackenzie!

Heading to Westerns are: Samantha Olsen who finished 9th in the AA, and Alyssa Noel who finished 8th in the AA.  Good Luck to both of you!!

Becca Commits to Mizzou

Rebecca Johnson currently a Senior at Pewaukee High School, and a Level 10 for MWT has confirmed a walk on spot at the University of Missouri, Becca will join the Gymnastics team for the 2011-2012 season.
