2024 Team Party @ Kalahari (Safari Invite)
Not Just A Meet… An Experience
Our official MWT home meet is the Safari Invite at the Kalahari Waterpark & Resort. Audra and I run this meet along with High 5 Meets. Since we no longer run an “in-house” meet… we have made this our home meet.
The vision of this meet was always to make it a fun “travel” meet for our entire team. A “travel” meet that is close to home so all levels of our team program can participate. On our travel meets we always try to do at least one fun activity as a team. Why?
10 years from now they won’t remember the medals… it’s the other experiences that they remember
We encourage you all to travel to Wisconsin Dells and book room at the Kalahari for both Friday and Saturday nights and have a good time with all of the other team families. I say Friday and Saturday as I believe rooms must be booked for two nights at a time at the Kalahari. Can’t stay at the resort… make sure you at least come to the party!

WHO: MWT athletes and their families (parent are responsible for their own kids)
WHAT: 2nd Annual Waterpark & Pizza Party
WHEN: January 6th @ 5:00 pm (MWT families may use the cabanas from 10am until close)
WHERE: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark (Cabanas H & I)
WHY: To have a “travel meet” style experience close to home for the entire team

FOOD FOR KIDS: MWT will order pizza for the athletes and siblings (purchase your own drinks)
FOOD FOR ADULTS: You’re on your own
Booking Details
Below you will find a link to the Kalahari room block for the event. In order to get a room in the block you will need to book your room AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The room block as filled as fast at the first few days it opened in the past. The link will be released on the meet website on Sunday, August 13th and it will fill very quickly. Currently we have over 850 athletes registered for the Safari Invite already. The meet and the room block will fill quickly. Once the block is full we can not get additional rooms added onto the block and you will have to book through the regular site.
